I can read and write a bit in thai, but I prefer not, before I am more confident

I would need some help from people who are good in Finnish, and of course, in Thai.

My goal is to create a free Finnish - Thai - Finnish dictionary. It will be freely downloadable etc. later. It will be a great tool for people teaching Thai to Finnish people in Finland. I have been chatting with my teacher in Finland and he has to do transliterating all manually

So, now I am creating a tool, that transliterates Thai words, so Finnish people can read it.

The tool can be found from:

It is a bit ugly, but it's easy to use. Just copy and paste some thai words inside. I have been testing it with Thai poetry.

There still are many bugs, and I would need some help to locate/correct incorrect transliterations and incorrect splitting of words to syllables.

I have read your post for a long time but i did not to reply yet because i was busy. How can i help you if you please my help ...I am living here in Finland about more 8 years. I think maybe can help you but i am not sure all of your goal. Let me know in case you need....

Well, I'm not an expert on thailanguage but I ได้นิดหน่อย . But anyway, I tested it with few words and found problem with this word:
เมฆ - Cloud (suom. pilvi), it give me this result: เมฆ ([เ] - mok). I believe it should be 'meek' (with falling tone).

Another problem is about tonemarks on transliteration. I cannot see "low-mark" with Firefox and Netscape, but it works fine on IE. And also it's difficult so see tonemark on some words ie. หมี ( http://wk.fi/thai/trans.php?w=%CB%C1%D5 ).

I changed transliteration output a bit.. now falling and rising tone marks are below the word. This allowed me using of Ä and Ö normally
