Hello miro. I am from Finland, Lappeenranta (south-east) but I have lived here in Thailand for 16 years, first in Bangkok and now for more than three years in Hua Hin. I have also lived in Chiang Mai, but that was for a very short period, only three months.

Yes, I liked Chiang Mai. People were very friendly and polite there, even more so than in other places in Thailand. I liked the fresh mountain air, I lived near Doi Suthep. But it rained more there than it does in Hua Hin and I missed the sea. When I lived in Finland, I always lived near water: Lappeenranta, Savonlinna (I studied there four 4+ years) and Helsinki. So when I came back from Chiang Mai to Hua Hin, I felt like coming bach home again. But yes, I like northern Thailand very much too but I'm happier living by the sea.

Hello again miro . I live in Vantaa, southern Finland. Soon I go again to Thailand and there I live in Si Khiu near Khorat. My holiday is very short so I can stay there only about three weeks

I was born Ban Am Phur in province Chon buri...My home is close by the seaside that why i like the North of Thailand more than the sea and there are the temples so different as my province..i mean beautiful all of the site...perhaps i feel fed up the sea. but sometime i do like the sea too.
